DYNAMIC DANCE ACADEMY
Dynamic Dance Academy opened in August 2016, under the direction of Jessica Maillet, (better known as Miss Jessi) offering dance classes in Verona, NJ. DDA offers dance classes for kids and for adults too.
The school has a direct focus on each dancer’s technique, promoting maximum potential in any subject in which the dancer desires to enroll.
DDA has a dance room equipped with Ballet barres, mirrors and a marley sprung floor.

Dynamic Dance Academy is a studio devoted to providing dancers of all ages an encouraging environment where they are given the opportunity to grow and excel in their dance education. We strive to deliver the highest quality of dance training with greater emphasis on small group classes to reach dance skill objectives. We nurture each student's unique gift of talent and creativity and encourage them to achieve their fullest potential. DDA offers dance classes in Verona, NJ located in Essex County.
GIVING BACK
Dynamic Dance Academy gives back to the community by donating to several organizations like the Hoboken Shelter, Soles for Souls, and Traveling Tutus Inc.
MISS JESSI
Director/Choreographer/Dance Teacher
Miss Jessi loves to teach young children the art of dance and hopes to bring them to enjoy dancing as much as she does.
She began dancing at the age of three and has studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Flamenco, Pointe, Hip Hop and ballroom dancing. She has participated in numerous performances, recitals, and competitions including Star Power, Starbound, Access Broadway, Dance Educators of America, CANAM, EDA and NDA to name a few. She has received many awards for solos and group dances throughout the years. She was the captain of her dance team in high school at Saint Dominic Academy. In 2009, Jessica graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Arts and majored in International Business and Dance.
Miss Jessi is the co-director, choreographer, and instructor at My Passion Dance studio where she teaches Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Flamenco, Salsa, Hip Hop and Acrobatics. She also choreographs for weddings and sweet 16s. Miss Jessi teaches both adult and children’s dance classes including Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and Tango.
Miss Jessi has also managed to teach at several schools in New Jersey. She founded the Ballet program at Saint Francis Academy- a Blue Ribbon school in 2011. She also directs the dance program at the Ice House in Hackensack. She has worked closely with Olympic figure skaters there since 2016.
She has performed and continues to perform at weddings, birthday parties, charity events, parades, political events including the Mayor’s ball and for the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce. She also performs at various Latin Ballroom Congresses throughout the East Coast including NJ, NY, PA, Washington DC and Chicago, with Cultural Explosion.
Miss Jessi continues her dance education taking classes in New York City, attends and is part of several professional dance teacher organizations. Many of her students have been accepted to arts programs like AMDA in NYC and have performed at Mets Games, NJ Devils games and Red Bull games.
Miss Jessi is certified by Acrobatic Arts to teach level 1 through level 6. She is also AFAA (Athletics and Fitness Association of America) to teach group fitness classes for children and adults of all ages and is a member of IDEA a dance education association. She is certified by Progressive Ballet Technique ( an international renowned program for all dancers), and certified to teach Rhythm Works which is dance program designed for children with special need and different learning abilities.
